After enduring six hours of young children kicking the back of my seat, I finally landed in Orlando last night!
It feels great to be back home and realized that there’s so much to be grateful for. Such as…
Sunlight.
Orange and banana smoothies (plus Emergen-C to combat any jet lag sickness) that actually taste appropriate for the climate.
Backyards to take pictures in.
Furballs.
Furballs that like to get too close and personal.
Publix food. Seriously, if there was only one thing from Florida that I could bring to Washington, I would bring Publix.
Sweet cranberry orange relish. The perfect bread. Oh man, I have yet to find a place in Washington that competes with Publix’s bread.
Furballs that don’t mind being lazy.
Teenage brothers that agree to go on bike rides.
Rusty bikes that are stuck in the hardest gear.
Armadillos that are still alive and aren’t roadkill.
Eggnog in coffee.
Weather warm enough to sit outdoors in the evening.
The holiday season.

That sandwich looks amazing!!!! Enjoy being home
Jen
Hahahaha – I’m glad you’re happy and home, girl!
Happy Holidays

i’m really curious about eggnog…i better google it up
That bike may be the death of me – half the brakes don’t work either! I think it’s possible to make your own eggnog, but I’ve never tried!
Merry Christmas from snowy Connecticut, Bethany
Thanks Donny! I hope you had a great holiday!
